Composition And Manufacture

Balmer Architectural Mouldings Inc. gypsum elements are manufactured in various gypsum formulations in accordance to the degree of hardness and durability required.  For example, wall panels, fireplace mantels or door and window casings require a more durable material.  During the consultation and/or quoting process, Balmer Architectural Mouldings Inc. will make material recommendations to ensure that the formulation matches the application.

 

Kiln-drying

• After moulding, Balmer Architectural Mouldings Inc. gypsum elements are dried in a kiln that was perfectly engineered in accordance with gypsum manufacturer specifications for humidity and air-flow.
• The kiln-drying, unique to Balmer Architectural Mouldings Inc., ensures that all gypsum fabrications achieve optimal strength before they are packed to be shipped.

 

Crating

• After they have been perfectly dried, Balmer Architectural Mouldings Inc. staff packs the pieces in wooden crates.
• Before sealing the crates, the gypsum elements are packed tight with expanding packaging foam to prevent damage in transit.

 

Shipping

• Balmer Architectural Mouldings Inc. ships the elements on trucks to job sites through a network of trusted delivery agents.
• If Balmer Architectural Mouldings Inc. installers have been contracted to provide their services on the construction site, it is possible to arrange the schedule so that they are on site to receive the delivery.
